WHAT MAKES HER SPECIAL: "Mi-Rayah enjoys school and the computer. This year she was selected by her teacher in Baton Rouge, La., to participate in the third grade spelling bee at her school and did very well and on Honors Day received a Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in Spelling certificate. She has had perfect attendance and meritorious attendance since starting kindergarten. We're all so proud of you Mi-Rayah," said her grandmother, Carmen Welch .
