AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Glendora M. Stafford, of Augusta, entered into rest Thursday, October 16, 2008 at the Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Victor Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. She was a native of North Carolina and a retiree of the Morrisania Hospital in New York City. After retirement she relocated to Coushatta, La., where she was employed with the Coushatta Board of Education. She was a member of the Greater Mt. Canaan Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors are three sisters, Doretha Moore, Salisbury, N.C., Irene E. Mazone and Eleanor P. Carr, Augusta; niece, Shirley Moore Lewis, Augusta; nephews, John E. Moore, William R. Moore, and Wayne W. Moore, Salisbury, N.C., Michael E. Carr, San Francisco, Calif., Edwin W. Carr, Columbia, S.C.; a host of great nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. The lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Hospice. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
