AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. Mrs. Sarah D. Fallen, wife of the late Mr. Lonnie Fallen, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. J.R. Hatney officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church Social Services Ministry, 710 East Cedar Street, Augusta, GA 30901. *The family will receive friends this evening from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Fallen was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Solomon and Arrie Dunbar, Sr. She retired in 2001 after working 33 years with Dr. Leo Horan and Dr. Nancy Flowers. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving and devoted family: four sons, Ray E. Dunbar, St. Louis, MO, William "Poke" (Linda) Fallen, Hephzibah, GA, Lonnie D. (Danee')Fallen, Louisville, KY and Destry P. (Mona) Fallen, Dayton, OH; five daughters, Arrie Christian, Richton Park, IL, Richardeen (Willie) Martin, Blythe, GA, Edwina (Kenneth) Heath, Augusta, GA, Connie Sanders, North Augusta, SC and Sarah A. Allen, Augusta, GA; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; six sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends may call the residence of her daughter, Sarah A.
