LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Minnie Freeland Clark, 65 of Chamberlains Ferry Rd. died Fri., Oct. 10, 2008 at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. Funeral services will be held Tues., Oct. 14, 008 at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Paul C. Reviere officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Clark, daughter of the late Frank M and Ida Quarles Freeland was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. She was a produce clerk at Bell's Food Store. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Clark, and siblings, Georgia Goldman, Charles D. Dill and Oliver Dill. Survivors: sons, Bruce Freeland and wife, Shelia of Elberton, Johnny Freeland, Lincolnton; daughter, Joy Clark, Lincolnton; brother, Frank Freeland, Washington; sisters, Doris Blackburn and Jean Brown, both of Lincolnton, Mae Lumpkin, California and Gloria Freeland, Kentucky; grandchildren, Bruce Freeland, Jr., Jason and Jarrod Scales.
