AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. George E. Vowell, Sr., of Augusta, died at Trinity Hospice on Thursday, October 9, 2008. He was 73 years old. The family will receive friends at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta on Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the mausoleum at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown.
