NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Peter Damian 'Pete' Fledderman died suddenly in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on October 5, while on business travel. Pete was born in Cincinnati and graduated from Broadmoor High School and LSU. For the past 19 years he lived in North Augusta, South Carolina, and was employed at the Savannah River Site. Pete leaves behind his mom and dad, Ken and Nellmary Fledderman, his brother, Paul Fledderman, his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lynn and Roy Andermann. He also leaves, to miss him greatly, a niece and 3 nephews. Pete was a Health Physicist and member of the American Nuclear Society. He loved his work and delighted in each new challenge which was presented to him. Pete was a big Deep Purple fan; he loved NASCAR, and remained a staunch LSU fan. Pete loved good food, wine, and especially his friends and co-workers. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Augusta, where a memorial Mass will be said by Father Tim Donahue at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 25. A memorial service will be held by Deacon Peter Walsh on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Baton Rouge. We loved Pete so very much and Jesus loved him even more. Jesus loved him so much that He took our bright and shining star in his 47th year.
