EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Pierce Attaway Brassell entered into rest Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Doctors Hospital, the husband of Mrs. Joyce Mills Brassell. Additional family members are two sons, Michael Brassell and David Brassell; one daughter, Debra Chambers; one brother, Bobby Brassell; seven grandchildren; and one great- grandchild. Mr. Brassell was born in Augusta. He was a retired carpenter, a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict, and a member of West Acres Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Elton Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
