Isaac A. Groom (MARTINEZ, Ga.)

MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Isaac A. Groom, of Holiday Drive, entered into rest Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital. Entombment will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Victor R. Thomas officiating. He was a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., a World War II Air Force veteran, and retired from the Internal Revenue Service as an auditor. Survivors are his nephew, Robert (Trudy) Pope, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandnephew, Tyrone Pope, Tucson, Ariz.; three goddaughters, Ocie Webb, Antonia Chapman, Evans, and Sharon Rosenburg, Pompano Beach, Fla.; a host of other relatives and friends.
