DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Marsha Ann Ivey, 56, beloved wife of Mr. Jimmy Ivey, died Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 6, in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery, Gibson, with Rev. Ralph Kitchens officiating. Mrs. Ivey was a native of Jefferson County, but had lived in Dearing for many years. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Mr. Jimmy Ivey, Dearing; two daughters, Stephanie Tankersley and Lacie Meadows-Ivey, both of Dearing; her mother, Mrs. Vivian Swafford, Dearing; three grandchildren, T.J. Tankersley, Nathan Tankersley, and Kyra Tankersley; two sisters, Sandra Summers, Gibson and Robin Smith, Dearing; a step-daughter, Angie Knight, Gadsden, Al; and a step-son, James Ivey, Blairsville, Ga. Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Curtis Funeral Home. Friends may call at the residence or at the Curtis Funeral Home.
