Althea S. Fail (WARRENVILLE, S.C.)

WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Althea S. Fail, 71, of Warrenville, SC, beloved wife of fifty-two years to Bobby Gene Fail and daughter of the late Emmitt and Helen Barker Sheffield, died Thursday, October 2nd, 2008, at her home. Born in Bulloch County, GA, she had been an area resident since 1956. A devout Christian, she was a dedicated member of Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church. She retired from the Kendall Company in Augusta, GA, after ten years of service. Mrs. Fail loved taking care of her grandchildren and singing. She never met a stranger. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Sandra Kay F ail, Warrenville, SC, Linda Fail Sandifer, (Gene) Martinez, GA and Barbara Fail Richardson, (Brian) Warrenville, SC; and her grandchildren who she loved and adored, Rainee Melissa Wells, Jeremy Michael Owens, Wesley Alan Sandifer, Jacob Adam Sandifer, Brian Matthew Richardson and Ashley Richardson Grimes. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, October 5th, 2008, at 2 o'clock at Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bath, SC, with Pastor Bill Branch and Sister Dottie Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Hillman Mathis, William Mathis, Donnie Campbell, Sampie Noakes, Andy Adams, Lonnie Sheffield, Pete Sheffield and Christopher Brown. The family has asked that memorials be made to Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box Drawer H, Bath, SC 29816. Friends may call at the family residence.
