Betty Jo Putnam (EVANS, Ga.)

EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Betty Jo Putnam, 73, beloved wife of the late Charles Putnam, entered into rest on Tuesday September 30, 2008 at DeKalb Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday October 4, 2008 at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Putnam enjoyed square dancing and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Angela Reese and husband Keith of Lawrenceville, GA, one brother, Jack Norris of Evans, GA, two sisters, Rachel Robertson of Evans, GA, Omega Jones of Milan, GA, two grandchildren, Adam Reese and Mary Reese, and special friend, Sandy Bagwell of Evans, GA. Pallbearers will be Lee Anderson, Robbie Robertson, Billy Woodruff, Bob Robertson, Glenn Gentry, and Ben Anderson. The family will receive friends on Friday October 3, 2008 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Platt's Funeral Home Belair Rd.
