American Bass Anglers is the largest tournament trail for the weekend angler, with more than 116 districts and more than 1,000 tournaments nationwide. Membership is open to anyone 16 and older but is closed to professional fishermen and professional guides. Those under 18 must have parental consent.

Tournaments will be limited to the first 20 boats and are open to all ID cardholders and the public with a Fort Gordon fishing license guest permit. Entry fee is $10 per Fort Gordon Sportsman Club member, $20 per nonmember, with an optional $5 big fish pot, with a guaranteed $100 for first place and $50 for second place. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event's start. State licenses and Fort Gordon fishing permits required.
