AUGUSTA, Ga. - Jennette Estroff Goldwasser passed away after a brief illness, but a long and productive life. During her 98 years on this earth, she married the late Isadore "Izzie" Goldwasser and together they were devoted citizens of Louisville, Ga. They owned and operated the Louisville Furniture Company and were adored by their community. Although Jennette never had children, she treated her many nieces and nephews as if they were her own. After Izzie's death, she moved to Augusta to live at Brandon Wilde, where the "Lovefest" for Jennette continued. She adored her friends and her life there, always having a warm smile and a kind word for everyone she met. We will sorely miss this epitome of Southern grace and charm. Graveside services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta with Rabbi David Sirull officiating . In honor of Jennette's devotion to her faith, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Adas Yeshurun Synagogue, 935 Johns Rd., Augusta, Ga. 30904.
