Record: Democrats caused meltdown

  • Follow Letters

Democrats are the reason for the financial meltdown. If they were not they would be calling for investigations. Do the homework. Maxine Waters, Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi are hypocrites of the year. They should all be sent packing. What leadership. No wonder we are losing this country to socialists.

Republicans will be blamed
Unpublished

Republicans will be blamed for this disaster because THEY caused it. Eight yrs of Bush (R), twelve yrs of (R) House & Senate, but somehow the (D) are responsible is a shallow argument and requires a review of the facts. And the letter referenced "socialist", well what does the administration's bailout proposal represent? Corporate welfare? Socialism for Wall Street? No, No, No! They earned this mess, which will further demonstrates the failure of conservative ideology and explain why minorities are rarely associated with the Republican Party. Again, "we" saw it coming and the LTE is wrong.

I've suspected this from the

I've suspected this from the start. We all know that it was really the Democrats that convinced George W. Bush to invade Iraq looking for WMDs and result in 4,000 American deaths. They also were responsible for the poor FEMA response to Hurricane Katrina, lack of FDA food inspections that have caused all the food posioning. I knew they were behind Colin Powell's son while he was the head of the FCC and making all the cable prices go up. And they convinced two the Oil Men in the White House to give all that loot to the oil companies and Halliburton.
What a tricky bunch. Politics is a all smoke and mirrors. Its great that the writer can tell, that even though all these financial problems would seemed logical to be caused by greedy CEOs and Fat Cat Republicans that work for them in Congress and the Administration, it's really the Democrats who haven't been in the White House in 8 years and who did not regain control of Congress until January 2007. What an illusion.

Amen and another Amen Brenda

Amen and another Amen Brenda Manning...Too bad and too sad that a great many folks will conveniently overlook the trespasses of their own party crooks and continue to milk the "followers" of their last dime in order to keep their positions of power intact and pockets full of gold...

Folks, Dems will never ever

Folks, Dems will never ever admit any wrongdoing for anything they do. Why do you think we don't have anything such as personal responsibility anymore? These fine democratic examples of deceptions and outright lies helps.

Dems don't have to admit

Dems don't have to admit anything, the facts speak for themselves, including the capitulation of RINOs (as a result of lobbyist money). DC needs to be flushed.

All this does is reinforce my

All this does is reinforce my belief that we need term limits on all politicians. As long as we have career politicians in office we will continue to have problems. like this. Once they get elected they forget who elected them and look for who can line thier pockets the most. Big business doesn't want term limits because it would get to expensive for them to keep buying politicians.

You are obviously right

You are obviously right Brenda. It couldn't be the Republicans because they haven't done anything for at least 8 years. But hopefully, with little Sarahs help they won't be there much longer, to do nothing! Oh I almost forgot, they did do something, they ran up the budget the worst in history. And before I forget Brenda, do you still have your "W" sticker on the old Cadillac and your hubbys' pick-up?

Let the blame fall where it

Let the blame fall where it may. I do believe we are about to have Obama for president. Even though I will not vote for him. More importantly than blame or who wins the presidency is the $700 billion give away of our money. Let the market take care of itself. Will things change? Sure. Will some businesses fail? You bet. Why should we reward anyone for behaving so foolishly with their money? There have to be other answers. It's amazing to me how so many Democrats blame Bush for everything that is bad but are in such a hurry to support him in this bail out issue.
