NORWOOD, Ga. - Ms. Mildred L. Burley, Norwood, Ga., died Sunday, September 28, 2008. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 12 noon at the Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Norwood. Interment in the Gospel Aide Society Cemetery, Norwood. Rev. G. L. Avery, Pastor, officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Irma (Tommy) Penn, Lizella, Ga., Melvena McGahee, Thomson, Ga.; four sons, Cemonia Ray and Timothy Burley, Norwood, Willie (Alice) Burley, Hephzibah, Melvin Burley, Rex, Ga.; 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
