MIAMI, Fla. - Deacon Robert L. Cummings, 71, of Miami, Fla., entered into rest September 8, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Miami. Survivors include his wife, Alberta Cummings; sons, Jeffrey Shaw, Christopher (Irene) Cummings, and Robert Eric Cummings; three daughters, Sophia (Ronald) Gordon, Augusta, Nettie (Jerry) Core, Waynesboro, Ga., and Gwendolyn Wells, Miami; three brothers, George Cummings, Willie (Martha) Seabrooks, and Johnny (Rosalyn) Seabrooks; one sister, Alavan Russ, Miami; sister-in-law, Nazarene (Charles) Dukes.
