NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Georgia S. Jones entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at the NHC HealthCare and Rehabilitation after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 1 p.m. from the Shaws Creek Baptist Church, Trenton, S.C., with the Rev. Edward Lloyd, Eulogist and Rev. R.C. Holloway, Pastor. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Jones Lloyd, Aiken, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Eva Blocker, Philadelphia, Pa.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. or at the residence of her daughter at 107 Arcturus Drive SW, Aiken, S.C. The remains will be placed in the church on Thursday, September 25, 2008, one hour prior to the service. The funeral procession will leave from Miller's Funeral Home at 12 o'clock noon.
