Jennie Gross Boyd (THOMSON, Ga.)

THOMSON, Ga. - Miss Jennie Gross Boyd, 82, beloved daughter of the late John Stovall and Mary Gibson Boyd, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 in the Thomson Manor Nursing Facility. Gravesides services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 20, in the Thomson Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Liza Marler officiating. Miss Boyd was a native of McDuffie County. She was a graduate of Thomson High School and the University of Georgia. She was a member of Thomson First Baptist Church. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Murray Beckum, Thomson; her nephew, Mr. William F (Jenifer) Beckum III, Thomson; her niece, Mrs. Ginger (Russell) Tumlin, Cartersville; 4 great-nieces and 4 great- nephews. The family request that donations be made to the Thomson First Baptist Church. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Frank Powell and the Staff of Thomson Manor.
