AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Julia Mae (Morgan) Hobbs, 67, entered into rest on Monday, September 15, 2008 at her residence. Survivors include six daughters, Mattie M. Tankersley, Juliette (Frank) Pollard, Ernestine (Willie) Dixon, Bertha Heredia, Diane Strickland, Pamela Hobbs; sons, Johnny Ellis, Ernest (Terrilyn) Herbert, Robert (Lula) Herbert, Mobley (Michelle) Hobbs; a very special stepson, Robert (Camay) Hobbs; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Mae Handy, Martha A. (Arthur) Bentley; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. from Fellowship Baptist Church. Rev. John Lockhart officiating. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home. The Historic Dent's Undertaking Establishment serving the CSRA since the 1800's.
