He was a US Army WW II veteran, a member and deacon of Memorial Baptist Church, member of the Brotherhood and Jean Howard Sunday School Class, retired from GA Dept. of Transportation. Funeral services: 2 p.m., Sat., Sept. 20th at Thompson- Strickland-Waters Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in Screven County Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Fri., at the funeral home.
