EXTRA CREDIT: A discussion, "State of the Black Youth: Mis-education of a Lost Generation," will be held at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1223 Laney Walker Blvd., at 7:30 p.m.

FRIDAY-SUNDAY

ARTS IN THE HEART OF AUGUSTA: The annual arts festival's featured country is the Philippines. The festival includes art and crafts booths, the international food bazaar, a children's area and a literature village. There will be entertainment on four stages at the Augusta Common, 5-9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.

YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN: The Greenbrier High School student-directed shows will be staged in the theater at Greenbrier High, 5114 Riverwood Parkway, Evans, at 7 p.m. each night. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults.

SUNDAY

BOOKWORMS: The Columbia County Library's Teen Advisory Board will hold its first informational meeting at 2 p.m. A scrapbooking social will follow at 3 p.m., though registration is required. Call (706) 863-1946 for more details and registration.
