WARRENVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Sybil Ann Irick Ready, beloved wife of Malcolm M. Ready, entered into rest with the Lord Jesus Christ Sunday, September 14th, 2008 at her home. Sybil was a native of Warrenville, SC and was the daughter of the late Felder and Carrie Cave Irick. Sybil was an extremely devoted wife and mother and is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Malcolm, son, Douglas Ready, (Mona) Seattle, WA; daughter, Stephanie Harrah, (Paul) Yakima, WA; son, Malcolm Ready, Jr., (Marlo) Warrenville, SC; grandchildren, Jean, Paul, Daniel, and Jos'I and three great-grandchildren. Malcolm indicated that one of Sybil's many achievements was following him, due to his USAF career and the Boeing Airplane Company career of Seattle, WA, throughout the United States, Europe, and Africa, to include living three years in Tripoli, Libya, with never a complaint. Sybil was a dedicated Christian and attended Stiefeltown Baptist Church prior to her illness. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19th, 2008 at 3 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Langley, SC, with Pastor Gene Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Warrenville Cemetery, Warrenville, SC. Pallbearers will be Emmitt Harkens, Julian Proctor, Gordon Kneece, James Bush, Carl Merbach, and Charles Barton.
