HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Rose Mae Funderburg, 85, beloved wife of James Marvin Funderburg, entered into rest on Friday, September 12, 2008 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Renew and Bro. Chris Williford officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Funderburg was born on May 3, 1923 to the late Sam D. Inglett and Rosa Lee Widner Inglett. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Inglett and Sam Inglett; a sister, Louise Inglett Cliett and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by her four children, Norman Roy Funderburg and wife, Donna, Delores Mae Needham and husband, Roger, William Thomas Funderburg and wife, Patricia and Darlene Denson and husband, David; eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
