McCain is old and led around by women

  • Follow Letters

Have you noticed how John McCain uses women as a crutch? McCain's wife is by his side during public appearances. Now, Sarah Palin is McCain's surrogate crutch when his wife is not available.

John McCain is similar to Ronald Reagan during his second term. Nancy Reagan had to practically lead President Reagan around by the hand. All you have to do is open your eyes, resuscitate your conservative brain and notice how McCain is being handled.

Starry-eyed conservatives need to stop thinking like sheep. McCain does not have the mental or physical wherewithal to assume the duties of the presidency. His time has come and gone.

As a retired veteran myself, I salute his service to this country. But, McCain is past due. His shelf life for the presidency has expired. The country does not need an old man and a female religious hypocrite in charge. Sorry!

Kevin Palmer, Martinez

Hey Kev, that old man as you

Hey Kev, that old man as you call him was helping to protect your ungrateful, whining butt for many years. Instead of saying thanks to him, you mock him. I served for 20 years, but I don't put myself in the same league of service as John McCain. When he's president, he'll continue to protect your ungrateful, whining butt. Amazing, in 2004, John Kerry's service was made a big deal by the Dems. Now that they have 2 candidates who didn't serve, they say it doesn't matter. Which is it guys? You can't have it both ways.

What is this with age people?

What is this with age people? If this is your only argument against the qualifications of McCain then you have none...More young people are dying than older people these days...Plus your moms and dads must be so proud of ya'll for your belief than anyone over the age of 49 must be suffering from senility...

Just in case no one has

Just in case no one has noticed, when Barry and the she-devil Michelle share the stage together, whatever she says, goes. She is the only person who has never heard his stuttering objections. Don't be concerned with Barry's plans for the future of the U.S.A., be concerned with how the she-devil Michelle plans to re-tool the "nation that she is proud of for the first time" since Barry's nomination. That is the morst frightening prospect...........

Is that all you've got?

Is that all you've got? McCain is too old to be President. Of all the things you can say, you waste the editor's time and ours by implying the only reason you wouldn't vote for McCain is because he may need assistance from his loving wife? Mr. Palmer your comments are unfit for printing. You would do America a favor by not voting this November since you certainly do not have the maturity to decide what it takes to be a fully qualified candidate for Presidenct. I suppose you support an individual who supports domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers or hangs out with felons like Tony Rezco. Or perhaps you are drawn to the voter fraud that is part of the other candidates resume. Finally, the Church he has attended with J. Wright for the past twenty years makes you feel more comfortable. But all you can say is McCain is too old. How sad is that?

B.Ho supporters are getting

B.Ho supporters are getting increasingly desperate and irrational in trying to smear McCain. Everything coming out of the Obama campaign for the past few days is vile, nasty and negative. It's obvious that the B.Ho campaign has chosen the low road which gives McCain the high ground by default.

I agree. Mr Palmer is stupid.

I agree. Mr Palmer is stupid. At least McCain"s two crutches are intelligent and beautiful. MY mother is 92 years old and has more knowledge about being President of the US than BoBo. McCain has what it takes and the Hocky Mom going to help him go along way. Cindy and Sarah will definitely get my vote crutches of the next four years.

This is about one of the most

This is about one of the most dense letters I have read, I can't believe some of the letters to the editor that the Chronicle will publish. How can you say Palin is a religious hypocrite? Who are you to stand in judgement of someone elses religious values????? Maybe because you are now retired you don't care what happens with the military but from past experience all the democrats will do is cut back the military so if i am left to vote for an old veteran to preserve our military then that is what I will do. Although my husband is now retired, I still have a son protecting this country so I am all for who I feel is going to help our military men and women and I think it will be the republicans.

Unfortunately, TJohns, Obama

Unfortunately, TJohns, Obama has not produced a verifiable copy of a birth certificate. Therefore, we do not know where he was born. Just because someone claims to have been born in Hawaii does not mean he was born there. If he would release a certified copy of a birth certificate, the constroversy would stop. But Obama refuses to release one.

Another useless letter by a dim that has drank to much of the kool-aid. I doubt he even spent any time in the military or he would not comment about a fellow veteren like that. How can someone write something like this and put it out there for the public to view? Embarrassing, just like Obama.

Oh the desperation of the dims! They say "behind every successful man, there is a strong woman". So what is wrong with having 2 beautiful, strong and smart women by the side of McCain. I would think most of us would be envious of that. I guess that's the problem with palmer - he's envious. I guess meeshell, my belle, is probably there by the side of barack hussein obama. That is a scary thought. Looks like they are keeping her hidden. Guess they have good reason.

Go to obamacrimes.com to see

Go to obamacrimes.com to see info on lawsuit about Obama's forged birth certificate. I saw on the news where Meeshell is coming out in Washington DC to try and offset the present of Cindy and Sarah. Obama's recent advertisement saying that McCain does not know how to use a computer is another act of desperation by the Democrats.

You don't have your facts straight Little Lamb. Obama has produced a valid birth certificate.
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html
I know it is not in the republican nature to check the facts since your smear campaigns work so well. It is my only hope that the average citizen does their own fact checking when making their voting decision.

I look at it this way. If

I look at it this way. If McCain does die in office within the first two yrs of his term it will not be wasted he will have plenty of time to pass on his vast array of knowledge to Mrs. Palin who I believe is quite capable of running things. I mean for God sake she runs a huge house. Sure its not perfect but thats what makes it great. If she had a completely spotless record I would question her and her motives but she doesn't she is human. Last time I checked we all were well at least the Republicans anyway. I think the DIMS are I would say Mars but that would be giving them too much credit. I shouldn't say all Reps or Dems there is an equal mix of idiots on both sides. However, If anyone of you think you have the testicular fortitude to run for president at an old age (not talk about age 40) then go for it. And again I say Dems if you can't grow up and grow a pair I am sure Mrs. Clinton will let you barrow hers she let her husband barrow them

If you mugs hadn't been duped

If you mugs hadn't been duped by Karl Rove's dirty tricks, McCain would be president today, and wouldn't need any bunnies to help him around. On his WORST day McCain would've been better than Bush ANY day. Bush has lowered the bar so nearly anyone born here (and old enough) is qualified to be president. McCain, though he may be past it now, can still pass the mirror test. Bubbly-cute though Palin might be, if the old man keeled over, we might wish we had something better than a perky office manager, though even that would be better than the ineptitude we have almost survived. Whatever happens, January20, 2009 will mark the end of an ERROR.

The liberal hate machine

The liberal hate machine keeps grinding out more distortions to try to denigrate Bush. Why such a determined, concerted and prolonged effort? After eight years of slick Willie-the-sleazeball Clinton the contrast of having an honorable man at the desk in the Oval Office is unbearable for the character-doesn't-matter liberal media. The fact is, character does matter to the majority and regardless of liberal media smears Mr. Bush still stands tall.

If McCain is anything like

If McCain is anything like his mother he will be around for many years to come. Considering the real possibility of eight years of McCain and another eight for Palin it's no wonder that the Democrat muck rakers are chest deep in their vile element trying to find some trace of Palin.

I guess having an

I guess having an inexperienced community organizer as POTUS would be better? Then if anything happens to him, we would have a 66yr old loose cannon, that's been in Congress for 36 yrs. And you think that would be better for the country. NObama/NObiden campaigned on "Change", "HOPE" and "Change we can believe in". NObama keeps changing and NObiden has voted for everything that is happening in our country. NObama/NObiden both voted for the Bridge to nowhere, twice. Vote for NObama/NObiden and get more of the same-o. The Congress has a 9% rating, the lowest in history. McCain has been a thorn in Pres Bush's side and been against many of his policies.
