NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral services for Master Sergeant, Ret. Robert L. Story, 61, of Hunters Farm Drive, North Augusta, SC who entered into rest September 13, 2008 will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Mark Owens officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park with full military honors. Mr. Story was a life long resident of North Augusta, having traveled all over the world during his military career. He was retired from the U. S. Army with 22 years of service and served 2 tours in Vietnam and 1 tour in Korea. Mr. Story was a Waste Water Operator with the Aiken County Public Service Authority, and a member of the First Baptist Church of North Augusta. He was preceded in death by a son, Todd Weston Story. Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. Story, one son and his fianc, Pete Story and Leah Holland, North Augusta, one daughter and her fianc, Carin Yonce and Joseph Kuntz, Beech Island; one brother, Donald M. Story, Columbia; three grandchildren, Layla Story, Hunter Gilstrap and Dakota Kuntz. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening from 6 to 8.
