If the attack came from Iran or North Korea maybe he could just invade Iraq. Wait, that's already been done.Obama is intelligent enough to retaliate against the country that actually did the attacking. While over 4000 US soldiers have been killed, untold thousands have been wounded, and we still have over 130,000 troops in Iraq, Bin Laden and the people who actually planned the attacks are still roaming the hills of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Most of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, but W walks along holding hands with the king and wants to provide them with billions of dollars worth of advanced weapons. Of course we could just invade Grenada again.

I remember another super power who went into Afghanistan and waged war for years. That really didn't turn out too well. Perhaps President Bush learned from history. I believe it is also true that while toppling a murderous dictator, Saddam Hussein, we have killed thousands of Al Queda and many other terrorist groups on their grounds, not ours.Liberals like Techlover forget that before war was undertaken in Iraq, the UN was involved, Hussein, Saddam not Barry, violated numerous UN sanctions, Bush had the support of nearly all of congress, some 35 nations joined us in the war and most of America supported it.

There are dictators all over the world. Remember we aren't supposed to be in the nation building business. Al Queda wasn't in Iraq before we toppled the government. They are a fundamentalist Islamic group. Saddam, his family, and his buddies enjoyed some rather unsavory activities. He didn't want them to have influence in Iraq. After 9/11 many people would go along with anything in the name of security. That didn't make it right.

There is a producer named Zucker (Naked Gun series, etc) who recently told of becoming a 9/11 Republican in Hollywood's sea of liberals. He said the reason he changed was because when 9/11 happened he heard all his friends saying things like "Why did they do this? What did WE do wrong?" Right then and there he gave up being a Dem because WE DID NOTHING WRONG TO DESERVE THAT!!!!! And that the republicans were ready to defend this great nation while the dems were still trying to understand why. How pitiful liberal Hollywood has become. I'm still waiting on all those saying they would leave the country if Bush was reelected. Just like Democrats, can't keep their word.

After reading some of the posts and watching people on tv, it is obvious that the only concern of some is that a black man be POTUS. They don't even talk about the issues of security, the economy, etc. and how he would handle that, only that it's time for a black man. Like it has been proven before, "CHANGE" isn't always for the best. We may get "CHANGE", but we may not like the "CHANGE" we get.

Lincoln told the south there would be no hostilities if they were allowed to peacefully resupply Fort Sumter. When they tried to resupply the fort, the south fired the first shots. BTW: Fort Sumter was a US fort, therefore property of the US government.
