AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Henrietta Curry of Ridge Road entered into rest Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Moore officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. She was a native of Columbia County, Ga.; a member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church; employed at Richmond County Board of Education for many years and worked as a Private Caretaker for several years. Survivors are four daughters, Mary Elizabeth Williams, Patricia Ann (James) Johnson, Minnie (Bobby) West, Augusta, and Antionette (Charles) Thomas, Hephzibah; one son, Willie Eugene Curry, Augusta; three sisters, Edith McCorkle, Margie (John) Ashley, Augusta, and Hattie Ann Johnson, Hephzibah; one brother, Walter McCorkle, Augusta; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Juanita W. Curry, Augusta; uncle, George McCorkle, Jackson, S.C.; aunt, Lucille Johnson, Appling, Ga.; god- daughter, Patricia (Alex) Williams, Augusta; god-sister, Bernice Herrington; a host of nieces and nephews.
