AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Herbert R. Whittle, 81, entered into rest Friday, September 12, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Whittle was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. He was with the maintenance department with University Hospital and a member of Bayvale Baptist Church. Family members include his cousins: John E. Whittle, Jr. and wife Missy of Blythe, Krystle W. Hardin and husband Steve of Blythe, John E. Whittle III and wife Mary of Grovetown, Beth W. Hensley of Martinez, Clay N. Whittle and wife Bonnie of Appling and Kenneth A. Whittle and wife Debbie of Greenwood, SC. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 15, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Charlie DeLoach officiating.
