HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Hardy Hugh 'Bill' Elliott, 82, husband of Lynda DeWitt Elliott entered into rest Saturday, September 13, 2008 at University Hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in Savannah Vally Memorial Gardens, Thomson, GA with Reverend Michael Rochester officiating. Other survivors include his sons, Jimmy Walker and his wife Shannon and Joe Walker all of Hephzibah; sisters, Carole Clark of Jacksonville, FL, Corine Hajduch of Statham, GA, Leona Burke of Washington, GA and Rosa Lee Richardson of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Ashton, Brianna, Cadence and Camden; numerous neices and nephews and his special caregiver Janie. Mr. Elliott was born in Robertstown, GA to the late Thomas Noah and Gartie Lee Vandiver Elliott. His was a retired welder with Local 150 and of the Baptist faith.
