CHARLESTON, S.C. - Entered into rest Monday, August 25, 2008 at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Kenneth Nathan Wright, 66, husband of Joyce Temple Wright was born in Augusta Georgia, and resided in Summerville, South Carolina. He graduated from the Academy of Richmond County, and attended Georgia Southern University. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed many outdoor activities including golf. He spent most of his professional life in the food business and retired from the frozen foods division of Heinz Foods in 1997. He bought and ran his own restaurant in Charlotte North Carolina for several years after retiring. Known to many as "Slick" or "Flash" because of his love for fine clothes and his dapper attire. Family members in addition to his wife, include his son and daughter in law: Brett and Wendy Wright of Newnan Georgia; grandchildren: Kennedy Wright and Taylor Wright; brothers: Danny Clifton Wright of Augusta, Timothy Ellington (Cherie) Wright of Augusta; nieces and nephews: Lee, Ivey and Ben. A memorial service will be Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary on-the-hill Catholic Church with Fr. Jerry Ragan celebrant The Family will receive friends following the service at the home of Tim and Cherie Wright, 2356 William St., Augusta, GA
