Commissioner Alvin Mason's motion to approve the recommendations of the commission's Hyde Park Subdivision Subcommittee failed to pass on a 2-1 vote with one abstention and will now go to the full Augusta Commission on Tuesday for a vote. Because of a reporter's error, a news article in Tuesday's editions did not accurately report the measure's status.
