How about 'Drugs, Islam and Racism'?

Mr. Buchanan: Bloggers are a dime a dozen however learned men with PhD's such as Pipes and Spencer have PROVEN that Obama is or possibly was a Muslim. If he has changed to Christianity, he is a marked man, an apostate, or murtadd and must be killed. Should there be no such threats emanating from the Muslim world then a whole new strategy may be at play. One that has been predicted some time ago. I also find it impossible to believe that in his twenty plus years of attending Wright's church he never once heard the "Reverend" make racist's remarks. How gullible does he think we Americans are?

Why do you spread the lie? He was never a Muslim, nor did he go to a radical Muslim school. He went for two years to an Indonesian public school. He also went to a Catholic parochial school for two years, God forbid! To you fundamentalists that's just as BAD. Check the facts before you spread the lies. Education doesn't mean you're telling the truth. All the lies reek of fear.

GA, I would agree, and if only the politicians would stop spreading those lies, we would all wonder if truth would thrive more in this country. Fact is, everyone wants to get ahead and when you need to lie to get there, then you reap the problems it entails. Both political parties are not exactly telling truths about each other cause each want to get the seat in which they would control. The good news is, some really ARE telling the truth (not necessarily about Obama or his background mind you), about other issues that most people are complaining about. The ideas and solutions to those particular problems are what the people see right now so they can make hasty decisions of who to vote for. Instead of race, beliefs or whatever that a politician tells you, most people I know will vote based on their own beliefs. For example, the only thing stopping me from voting for Obama is that he seems to think abortions are "ok". I don't because of what I know God says to be true, and that is why I still live today. I don't always agree with McCain either but his VP choice may win my vote due to what the VP believes. Color and Race, or gender have nothing to do with this.

Ms. Elliot, you're correct, but I will vote for Obama, in SPITE of his being pro-abortion. I will let God handle the abortion issue, as HE is the on;y One who can change peoples' hearts, or judge those who refuse to change. I believe that our founders intended this to be a SECULAR government, as in the Preamble to the Declaration of Independence, they only mention Nature and Nature's God, and Creator, no religious qualifications anywhere in it. The God reference in the Pledge was added in the fifties. Religion is a personal belief and has no place in the schools or government. If parents lived up to their responsibilities and taught their children correctly by example at home and quit abdicating those responsibilities in the name of equality or the quest for wealth those children wouldn't end up PREGNANT like Palin's daughter or LESBIAN like Cheney's.

GACopperhead, try reading the letter again. Mr. Buchanan never said Owbama was a Muslim, only that some bloggers have suggested it. He's right in how the liberal media has treated the Owbamas with kiss butt politeness. Its funny how these so called impartial journalists always seem to lean toward Owbama. That's what got Matthews and Olberman canned. Owbama's in the big leagues now, so get used to him having to actually answer hard questions, not just vote "present."

If this same "yellow" journalism was applied to one of Obama's family members I assure you it would quickly have a racially turning of the coin...The media has attacked the family of Palin and in do so has hoped to divert attention from the Obama family and his complete lack of decent behavior and ineptitude...This is racism at its finest...

Almost. They started the vetting process of a totally unknown candidate. In doing so, they played into the Repubs hands of diverting attention away from Palin's total inexperience, McCain's irresponsible pick for pander, and his candidacy's fear of dealing with issues instead of personalities. The only ones keep bringing up racism are the bloggers. Wonder when the media will start pressing the Repub ticket for answers to their real questions, instead of letting McCain imply the only thing they are asking is about her family. It's not.

The facts are that just about every politician lies to get want they want. It is supposed to up to the impartial media to report the facts and for us to decide who agrees with our goals and agenda. For some reason Obama has been put on a golden pedestal and really gets no bad press. Instead of attacking each other, they should be telling me what they are going to do for the protection and well being of my family.
