METASVILLE, Ga. - Mr. James White Hays, (The Peanut Man), 85, of Metasville, died September 5, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Coy and Velma White Hays, his wife, Evelyn Smith Hays and grandson, Steven Craig Carter. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hays Family Cemetery, Hasting, Ga., at 5:30pm. Survivors include daughter, Lynn Carter (Addison), of Washington; son, Lee Hays (Terry), of Camak; grandson, James Casey Carter, (Stacey); great grandson, Steven Grier Carter; sister, Jeanette Russell, of Tiger, Ga.
