EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Westwood Nursing Home, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Mullen McCoy of Martinez. Mrs. McCoy was a native of Allison, Pa. She retired as a bookkeeper from the Sheet - Metal Workers Union in Maryland. She has lived in Augusta for the last 10 years and was a member of St Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Her family members include her daughters: Marie and husband Jerry Baine of Martinez, GA, Susan and husband Ernest Coats of Powder Springs, GA; 3 grandchildren: Brian Baine, Jennifer Bonness, Steve Hardy and 5 great-grandchildren: Kristen Hardy, Hannah Baine, Josey Baine, Abbigale Baine and Breanna Bonness. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St Teresa of Avila with Fr. Michael Roverse celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
