EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Elijah Tate, of Mims Rd., Evans, entered into rest Friday, August 29, 2008 at the Select Specialty Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, Columbia County, Ga., with Rev. Robert L. Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 12:30 p.m. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
