You can still be a fine Christian and not donate to food banks. Your forefathers and mothers did not donate to food banks and they got along well. Think about it. Food banks are an extension of the federal welfare system because most of the food distribution is done through Faith Based programs that get YOUR money through federal tax dollars Before food banks came on the scene groceries were cheaper. END FOOD BANKS> let grocery stores sell dinted cans as second quality...Many conservative people will buy them. Michael J. Firman who started and runs Golden Harvest earns a considerable amount of money plus fringe benefits for his "charity' Middle class peoples get a clue. End the madness. Because food banks increase the demand of food, prices go up!
