Duplicitous Democrats show true colors

I seriously doubt the Democrats ever had your vote. Obama reacted to the news of Palin's daughter, by saying, "leave her alone." Four more years of Republican "honesty, integrity and compassion?" No thanks.

If Obama said "leave her alone" the rabid posters on this forum clearly didn't get the message.

Obama did say leave her alone, which is very admirable and that a candidates family should be off limits. The election should focus purely on the issues. BO wants to raise your taxes, take money from you and distribute it as the Dems see fit. They feel they know better how to spend your money, this has been their platform for years. Little do they know that money in the citizens hands then get spent at local stores, which spur business, which then lets the business hire more people, which then energizes the economy as a whole. This is purely Econ 101, the Dems missed that class. The whole Dem establishment (most, not all) said the surge was failure ("this war is lost") in Iraq. We are now looking at victory in the eye and have started to hand over the security details to the Iraqis. The Dems missed this also, they were to busy going against all things Bush, that they did not put the needs of the country above their own political agenda. Sarah Palin was outstanding in her speech last night, and a DC outsider who will CHANGE the establishment in Washington. If you missed her speech, you missed a rousing and inspirational moment in politics.

Obama even had Biden say leave her alone. The far left press are acting like they are in a feeding frenzy and the easily influenced mindlessly follow their lead.(a natural reaction after years of training) All this "destroy Palin at any costs" behavior by the press and operatives of the left just make the character of the left more obvious. I think it's good.

Not kinda' of like the pot calling the kettle black Carolyn but really the big ole' pot calling the kettle black for real...Obama and his Obamites will put a spin on anything that doesn't suit them...They can do all things because, simply put, they can but for anyone else it is a sin so horrific, that if we were back in the middle ages, persecution would be the order of the day...

Just imagine what PT and Christian would have said if Chelsea Clinton had been impregnated out of wedlock....

I think we can put this campaign issue to rest. In listening to Gov Palin last night, I think she slammed the door on Obama.

Why don't we just tell McCain to step down and elect her president?

Palin's daughter should be called a teenaged tramp. It seems strange that any other pregnant unwed teenager would be looked down upon for making such an immoral decision. It wasn't that long ago Conservatives wanted a Contract with America to restore morals to our children, except when its one of their candidate's child. Teen pregnancy is WRONG! Sleeping with underaged pagers in the capitol Bldg is WRONG! Soliciting homosexual sex while serving in the Senate is WRONG! Rudy Guiliani is on his third marriage after commiting adultry on his first two wives, but thought this moral and complains about Obama? We are witnessing Conservatives stoop to the lowest depths of public hypocrisy. Had Obama's daughter been a teenaged pregnant tramp, she surely would not be on a national stage with her unwed boyfriend. Conservatives are simply the greatest liars and hypocrits during the elections. Keep watching as soccer mom call her lawyer rival less qualified for office. This is truly amazing to watch.

I say with very little fear of contradiction, that you yourself have children out of wedlock and/or have committed adultery, and/or have now, or have in the past had a serious drug problem. Go ahead and deny it, I would bet my right arm that it's true.

If I were a dim, I'd be scared too. Palin showed strength under fire. That is the kind of VP or President we need. She is a winner.

Palin is a well spoken (B.A. Journalism, former sports caster) attractive (beauty queen) candidate. Unfortunately for her and the republican party, she is less qualified to run for V.P. than Katie Couric. How about Robin Meade for VP?

Sarah Palin's speech last night showed the reason for the liberal press' attempt to trash her and her family. She is an effective, powerful, conservative woman. Something they fear more than anything!

HWMNBN, I have never used any illegal drugs of any kind. I have never tried not one cigarette. We did discover our first child was coming the month we planned to get married, but anyone could do the math and realize he was conceived out of wedlock. I do have family members that have had children out of wedlock. The point is this...Many families are faced with things we are a bit ashamed of because they are morally wrong! Our children often disappoint us. I just have a problem with knowing this is morally wrong and parading on a national televised event suggesting to the world that teen pregnancy is suddenly is no longer a problem if your pro-life. Conservative won my approval because they stood firm regarding morality and Christian values only to place a political price on them just as Liberals have...Thats why I am a proud Independent. I just feel it is shameful to dismiss teen pregnancy to try to win an election.

I believe in the physician's option for legal abortion, legalization of marihuana, recognition of gay unions legally but not "gay marriage", small and transparent government and accountability, free markets, etc. I do hold to christian morals and principals but that doesn't make you a conservative or liberal just a christian, which happens to be conservatives, liberals, Dems and Reps. You categorize things as simple black and white-binary thinking. I don't think anyone is dismissing teen pregnancy but rather than have an abortion they are dealing with the issue according to their beliefs.

November 4, 2008 will tell the story. Most of the peolpe who do all this talking and bickering with each other will not even vote. This had been a hard year for some war, gas price, food price, lost of jobs. The rich don't care the poor don't vote the midddle class are just stuck in the middle. But we say this the land of the free and the home of the brave, live the american dream own piece of the american pie, this dream has been a nightmare for the majority of the popluation...
