AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Medical College of Georgia, Mr. Fleming "Bo" Evans, Jr. of Wheeler Road. Funeral services will be conducted (today) Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from Beulah Grove Baptist Church, 1434 Poplar Street, with Reverend Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state at the church from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. The funeral procession will leave from 2352 Fitten Street at 12:15 p.m. Mr. Evans was a native of Columbia County, Georgia and at an early age he joined Beulah Grove Baptist Church. He retired from the Augusta National. Survivors are four sisters, Carrie McDonald, Philadelphia, PA, Ophelia Leaverett and Ann (Tyler) Walker, Augusta and Lula (Roy) Moses, Tamarac, FL; one step daughter, Ester B. England, Augusta; one granddaughter, Tanesia (Brain) Nathan, Augusta; two great grandsons and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
