JACKSON, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Marilea Polson, 90, of Fifth Street, Jackson, SC who entered into rest August 25, 2008 will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Jackson First Baptist Church. Dr. Kenneth Klingler officiating. Interment in Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Polson was a native of Welch, Oklahoma, having made Jackson her home for the past 52 years. She was a member of the Jackson First Baptist Church, the Philather Sunday School Class, the Ball Club and a former Sunday School teacher. Mrs. Polson was a former member of the Pine Needle Garden Club and retired from E.I. Dupont Company at the Savannah River Plant. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Polson. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Julie Polson, Edisto Island, SC and Tony and Pat Polson, Jackson; six grandchildren, Karen Bunch, Tracy Northrup, Emily Stoffelen, Rebecca Polson, Mary Grace Polson and Toni Raye Polson; 5 Great-grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Philather Sunday School Class. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 to 7.
