Or over at Mae's like they've been doing for years....
The adult video store proposed to open in Augusta is a business. If Augustans support it, it will make money and survive. If they don't, it will lose money and close.
Either way, Augustans can still get their porno on line like they've been doing for years.

Why pay for something that is free?
Maybe the owner of Mae's is the one who stirred up the controversy to get X-Mart shut down to begin with lol
No one ever mentions 'The Movie Place' on Georgia Ave. next to the Carpet Shop in North Augusta. About a hundred yards from the new municiple building. Been there for years and years. How many problems has it caused?
Never been in the Movie Place. Are you sayig it is a porno store? Frankly I don't see a lot of cars parked there. As for X-Mart, put it on the ballot and let the community vote on it. (and it will lose).
Went to the Movie Place once thinking it was just a regular video store and boy do they have some moldy-oldies out front. Yes, by all means, let's spend even more money in this losing debacle and put it on a ballot. Could just let the doggone thing open and close since nobody wants it but nooooo, not here in Augusta. Must spend tons of money instead.
Dear Augusta citizens, we need money to
A) pay for losing fight and loss profits to adult book store
B) build Cal Ripken a ballpark downtown just a few actual miles from current ballpark that does not sell out
C) build a trolly
D) extend the canal to run through the ghetto looking end of Ellis Street
E) buy gas for commissioners
