AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, August 24, 2008, at Trinity Hospice, Mrs. Hazel Lucille Williams, 83 of Hephzibah. Mrs. Williams was a native of Decatur, AL and resided in the Augusta area for the last 52 years. With her daughters at her bedside, she went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. She loved her family and will be dearly missed. Family members include her late husband: James E. Williams; her sons: Jerry Williams of AL and Jim D. Williams of Augusta; daughters: Debra Williams Peck and Peggy Hill both of Hephzibah, GA; five grandchildren: Wally Williams, Wendy Williams, the late Jason Williams, Benjamin Hill III and Derek Hill; three great-grandchildren; two brothers: Cecil Wampler and Larry Wampler; one sister: Lois Duvall. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008, 2:00 P.M. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sue Clayton officiating. Pallbearers will be Derek Hill, Matthew Newman, Brad Lewis and Ben Hill.
