MCDONOUGH, Ga. - Mr. Ellis Ray Saggus, 74, of Austin Rd., McDonough, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at his residence. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Mr. Saggus, son of the late Robert Alvin and Lizzie Lee Wilson Saggus, was a native of Lincoln County. He had lived in the Atlanta area for many years and retired from Manning Produce. He was a member of the Forest Park Moose Club. Survivors: wife, Cynthia Saggus; sons, Jeff Saggus, Scott Saggus, Ellis Saggus, Jeff Patton, and Paul Patton; daughters, Diane and Donna Mullins; brothers, Jack Saggus, Aytch Saggus, and Bobby Saggus all of Lincolnton; sisters, Virginia Aycock, Lincolnton, Sadie Pearson, Appling, Mary Sisson, Statesboro, and Pat Phillips, Columbus; grandchildren, Tayler, Logan, Mallory, Drake, Jessica, and Emily.
