AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Graham E. Nance, Sr., 80, husband of Roy L. Nance, of Blueberry Dr., entered into rest Friday, August 22, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors, Monday, August 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverends Bill Burch and Sandy Heslop officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Alan Guilfoyle, Travis Doss, Harold Hoover, Jack Vicory, and Carl Adams. Mr. Nance, son of the late Everette Wilbur and Bernice Rouse Nance, was born in North Carolina and had lived in the Augusta area for thirty-five years. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of Burns Memorial United Methodist Church and the Fellowship Sunday School Class. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Graham Everette Nance, Jr., Matthews, NC, and Gregg Allen Nance; daughter, Amanda Nance Murphey, Martinez; brother, Kenneth Nance, Florence, SC; and several grandchildren.
