Earnest 'T' Turner (LINCOLNTON, Ga.)

LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mr. Earnest Eston "T" Turner, 49 of Lucky St. died Thurs., Aug. 21, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sun., Aug. 24, 2008 at 3p.m. at Faith Community Church with Rev. Addison Belangia officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Turner, a native of Douglasville, married the former Terrie Scroggins on Nov. 13, 1981. Following retirement from the U.S. Army 16 years ago, he had been a resident of Forest Lake Estates. He had been employed by Garrett Aviation and was a substitute mail carrier. Also, he was a member of Faith Community Church. His mother, Edna Watkins Turner, and his brother, Donnie preceded him in death. Survivors: Wife: Terrie Scroggins Turner; Sons: Daniel Turner, Jason Turner and Christopher Turner, all of Lincolnton; Father: Eston Turner, Chatsworth; Brothers: Dean Turner, Dalton, and Mark Turner, Chatsworth; Sisters: Tammy Miles and Tina Lawson, both of Chatsworth.
