WHAT: Riesling comes in a wide range of styles, from bone dry to sticky sweet. This wine falls nicely in the middle, with strong floral notes and rich fruit. It is a beautiful pale yellow, with a hint of lemon on the nose. The tastes are a regular basket of fruit, with peaches, pears, apricots and pineapples tickling your taste buds. The wine is slightly sweet, but the strong fruit and crisp acid make for a well-balanced wine. Chill well before serving.
GOES WITH: Spicy Asian food, ham, turkey and even chili. It is also the kind of wine you would enjoy sipping on the back porch.
