AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mildred ( Millie) Garner McBride Stephens, 70, entered into rest Monday, August 18, 2008 at Trinity Hospital. There will be a memorial Mass at the Church of The Most Holy Trinity, Augusta on Wednesday the 20th of August at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the Mass at the church. A private burial for the family will follow. Mrs. Stephens was a native of Mobile, Alabama and the daughter of the late Garner and Gladys McBride. Mrs. Stephens was preceded in death by her parents, Garner and Gladys McBride and her sister, Cecelia Bailey. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Cindy Stephens of Martinez, and Mark and Tara Kattine Stephens of Augusta; her daughter and son-in-law, Kit and Tim Williams of Carterville, Illinois; grandchildren, Anna Stephens, Emma Stephens, Paige Robinson, Kate Robinson, Taylor Williams, Josie Stephens and Dani Stephens; four sister, Doris McAleer, Marilyn Story, Helen Nelson, and Jackie Mills; and many nieces and nephews.
