Lois H. Dupree (GIBSON, Ga.)

GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Lois H. Dupree, 87, widow of Mr. Claude Dupree, died Sunday, August 17, 2008, in the Gibson Rest and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Kerr and Rev. Beverly Casstevens officiating. Burial will be in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Dupree was a native of Jefferson County. She was a retired seamstress with the Thomson Company. She was a member of the Reedy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Dupree. She is survived by her daughter, Helen Hillman, Wrens; two sons, Wayne Dupree, Thomson, and Bobby Dupree, Gibson; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great- great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dupree, Carl Drive or at the Curtis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
