- Lee Muns, the president of Muns Welding and Mechanical Inc. and the president of the Augusta Mechanical Contractors Association, presented Hephzibah High School metal working instructor Trey Holden with about $2,500 worth of welding supplies, safety items and tools.

The supplies were donated by Mr. Muns, Grainger Supply of Augusta, Hertz Equipment Rental and Richmond Supply Co.

- Stolkin Temple No. 22 and Stolkin Court No. 173 presented a check for $3,790 to the Paul F. Milner Sickle Cell Support Group to help defray expenses of families being treated at the Sickle Cell Clinic in Augusta.
