AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Elease L. Burley of Golden Camp Road entered into rest Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Church of Christ, Meadowbrook Drive, with Solomon Ware, III, officiating. Burial will be at Walker Memorial Park. Mrs. Burley, a native of Midville, Ga.; a member of the Church of Christ, Meadowbrook Drive; Mrs. Burley was formerly employed with National Linen and Dymo Lable companies for twenty years. She retired after ten years of service as a Bus Driver for Richmond County Board of Education. Survivors are three children, Elaine Allen, Ronnie (Tonya) Burley and Brenda Barron, all of Augusta; three sisters, Mary (Melvin) Drayton, Charleston, S.C., Dorothy Bynes, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Betty Taylor, Pa.; Godsister, Hattie Outlaw, Waynesboro, Ga.; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Rebecca Walden and Della Coppett, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; Godmother, Mildred D. Williams; a devoted niece, Regina Cheatham; a host of nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
