AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, August 14, 2008, Mrs. Virginia Allen Mitchell, 88, wife of the late B C Mitchell III. Mrs. Mitchell was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was a homemaker, "just our Mom" and a Baptist. Family members include her daughter: Cynthia Samuelsen of Maggie Valley, NC; sons: Collins Mitchell IV of Martinez, Byron Mitchell of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren: Scott Mitchell, Colleen Rajas, Genevieve Woodhams; 7 great-grandchildren and brother: Winton Armstrong of Greenwood, IN. Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Warren Ham officiating.
